It is part of our financial policy to donate/sow 10% of our congregations’ total income (Tihes & Offerings). The distribution of these funds are done on a monthly basis and are shown as "Lovegifts" under expenses in our Income Statements.

Please note: Lovegifts are allocated to a different institution/person every month and might not be repeated to a recipient in a particular tax year. The distribution of allocated funds are done by our financial board and includes the following:

• Lovegifts to the Society for the Blind
• Lovegifts to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation

The Finance Board decided that during the 2007 tax year, 75% of total Lovegifts be given to the "River of Life Community Centre" in Pietermaritzburg. This centre is currently running an orphanage as part of their operations.

Our first allocation was effective from June 2006.
